Rewatching Season 2 of Seaquest has been quite the wild experience. The writing and plots are over the top. When I was a kid, I didn't notice any of it, but as an 40 year old human, it's so ridiculous. The best part of the season is still Jonathan Brandis.

I finished season 1 of Seaquest...the last few episodes had rough writing and corny plots so I skipped a few parts. I still can't get through the "Lucas and the birds and bees" episode for ~reasons

Overall, the charm of season 1 is just as endearing as I remembered it.

Getting to the episode Seaquest "Knight of Shadows" means I get to experience the most epic early 90s robe. Lucas' wardrobe is my favorite in Season 1 because it's so cohesively random. Also Jonathan Brandis is precious and a cutie. #Seaquest #90s

The early 90s are a trip because look at those shorts, black and red giant vertical stripes. Amazing. #Seaquest #90s #JonathanBrandis

No wonder had I such big crush on Jonathan. Look at how cute he is? (This is from the Seaquest pilot)
I just want to put him in my pocket and give him all the sweet treats. 🥹 #jonathanbrandis #seaquest

Starting my rewatch of 90s tv series Seaquest this weekend. To make it feel even more nostalgic, I'm watching videos ripped from a VHS because the HD upscale on Peacock looks "too" good 🥴
