Are already illegally possessed. Mass shootings are carried out by something like 0.001 of gun owners in the country and mass shootings are not the leading cause of death in children. Gun death is awful and sad and there are things we can do to fix it but those things are solving systemic inequity

Programs would help mitigate. A lot of the causes of gun deaths stem more from systemic inequity than guns themselves. Children aren’t legally allowed to to own guns already so while I think parents should be able to be held accountable for irresponsible gun storage a lot of the guns in question 2/?

you have to look at material conditions and do actual analysis. Guns are only the leading cause of death in children 10 to 18, not all children. The largest portion of those deaths are suicide and another large portion of those deaths are gang related violence. These are both things that social 1/?
