this is certainly true. but i myself chose fennel as a player character because their traits map well to the player. broadly irreverent of life. curious but pragmatic. selfish & self-assured. committed to their task but errant at any sign of personal gain. eager to pick up & eat unusual things.
The videogame guy I'm controlling? That's not me; I'm me. The main character in a novel I'm reading isn't me either. More and more I feel like this is an unusual attitude towards art.

5 months later i am proud to report that bruiseland has come into its own. to make 'more gutter world' would have been easy. i may have been done by now. but instead ive settled into a project that joins gw's musculature with bb1's spirit. i cannot wait to share this with you. thank you for waiting
