I went to the grocery store the previous afternoon and while exiting I passed by someone who was very likely another trans woman. As in I could fairly obviously tell she was trans but she also had a very determined stride in her walk. I only wish the best for her in the future.

I recently turned 35. And it's scary to notice I have a lot more in common with people older than me, than with people who are just a few years younger. Am I really in the bastion where analog things were comparatively easy and anything too digital is too complex?

What's the use of having a heart of gold if you don't really know what to say and end up getting actual chest pains yourself from built-up willingness to make the other person feel better?

I woke up in the middle of the night and put the radio on. It's tuned to an 80s-only station yet they're currently playing Lemon Tree by Fool's Garden. Now it's a pretty OK song in my book but pretty far from the 80s. Just because it's 3AM there shouldn't be slipups like this!

What an awesome game. I knew beforehand that it would be a tight matchup, but this exceeded my expectations. Shame about Switzerland losing again, but they really need to start scoring goals when they make the finals. #MensWorlds #IIHF

It should be illegal that some subscription services can only be cancelled via phone. I just wasted two and a half *hours* trying to get through and still nothing. I finally gave up and sent a callback request.

I put on my 1200+ song YouTube playlist to get a bit of a Friday night party mood going. Literally the fourth song was one that brought back a bittersweet memory of a person I once thought was really close to me but ended up being the complete opposite. Talk about a moodkiller.

Facebook just reminded me that it's been eight years since I bought my current main PC. At this rate it'll soon count as retro equipment as well.

Yesterday I booted up my Windows 98 machine for the first time in few months and was greeted with the message to check the new time settings as it had automatically updated from DST to standard time. Almost 30 years later the system still wants to keep up with the times. Gotta respect that.

I found some eggs in my cupboard which had a best before date in August. Instead of immediately throwing them away I decided to do some testing, and eventually cracked one open. As it turns out, they hadn't spoiled in the sense of smelling rank. Instead, the contents had just completely dried out.

So you know how postal codes are supposed to make sure mail ends up in at least vaguely the correct area? Yeah, well I just got a Christmas card addressed to someone living over 400 kms away. The only parts matching my address are the first half of the street name and the apartment number.

Today I said goodbye to the family dog for likely the last time. 14 years, and now he's at the end of the road. Godspeed, little bugger.

So Windows just turned 40 years old. Happy Birthday I guess, although the latest versions have gotten worse than their predecessors.

And today I finally did the same with Act V. Took a bit of grinding for better gear but I eventually pulled it off and managed to slay Baal. Oh and of course I went to The Secret Cow Level afterwards. :P
After over 20 years, it's finally done. I completed Act IV in Diablo II. Took me a while...

Ugh, how much is it to ask to just have a nice quiet pint or two? Regardless of the bar it seems every time I go there alone some guy spots me and sticks around like bad news even after I tell them I'm really not interested.
