HUGE NEWS FOR NYC FAMILIES: Starting in September, NYC will cover all out-of-pocket child care costs for all families using the child care assistance program (also known as vouchers). About 22,000 families will now have no out-of-pocket costs.

NYC announced a new emergency microgrant fund for licensed FCC and GFCC providers facing unexpected crises that threaten their ability to stay open.

NYC’s first FREE child care pilot for municipal workers has a name: The Little Apple!

Our 2-K seats will be full-day AND full-year!

We heard parents' child care needs loud and clear:

Beginning this fall, most 2-K programs will run from 8am-6pm, 260 days a year, giving working families the support they need to balance work and child care.

Good news for child care providers: permitting just got easier.

The Child Care Permitting Portal is now available for new Article 47 license applications.

Providers can now:
-Use live chat
-Upload documents
-Book inspections online
-Track the process

Less paperwork. More clarity.

Free child care is on the way for more families!

Parents in Districts 6, 10, 18, 23, and 27 will soon be able to apply for the City’s first 2-K program.

Here’s the timeline:
- Applications run from June 2 through June 26
- Offers are released in August

Summer plans are important, but so is 2-K!
