This boomer brain has no objection to the bike lanes. Get those trucks moving or set up pre-dawn hours when they can stop. I see that as the biggest problem . Congestion pricing was sold as a traffic reducer and it worked for just a short time. Traffic is just as bad, now. MTA is happpy though

This is all very pretty, but to remove two lanes of traffic without eliminating double parked trucks is going to make Park Avenue a parking lot. It won’t be too pleasant to be on that walkway.

I always found those terms ridiculous. Dems are liberal in terms of immigration, let’s say. Repubs are liberal about gun possession. Dems are conservative about budgets and are willing to tax to pay for social programs. Repubs cut taxes and drive up deficits which is not conservative at all.
