My perspective regarding this last election, so Russian. I hoped for the best, but it turned out like it usually does.
I don’t know if this is true. Still, I consider it more likely than not. It’s the tell that the GOP side of the aisle created the problem.

Just when we thought College Football could not get any more FUBAR than LSU staring down the SEC.
SenatorTed Cruz announces on Game Day he’s going fix it, all while wearing Longhorn-gear. We’ll be cheering intermural Cricket by 2029. Take OSU and the points. He’s the Grim Reaper of Texas Sports

I’ve never seen a stronger cases for controlled explosive demolition than the that golden toilet of a ballroom and now this assault on the Honor of our Fallen.
Possible exception that proves the rule being demolition of the “bug infested new US Russian embassy” torn down in the 80’s.
This monstrosity near Arlington National Cemetery is a disgrace and a litmus test for me in 2028 primary. Maybe for others too. If no pledge to tear it down, then cross off list for consideration.

Most Trump thing ever. Impose a 50% tariff on Canada.
The ultimate rob from the poor give to the rich way to raise revenue.
Did this to a neighbor, friend and ally that supports us when we are most in need.
Trump pisses on their Post Tosties while complaining they don’t use our milk.
On 9/11, US airspace closed, Canada launched Operation Yellow Ribbon. Gander, a town of 10,000, received 38 airliners. Residents immediately sheltered, fed, clothed, and supported stranded passengers for days, providing this hospitality free of charge.

Counter intelligence for the next competent administration will tear this down to bedrock. No universe exists where Trump & administration did not sell access to plant surveillance in what was once the most secure environment on the planet. Those billions were not paid for simple access.

Why would Iran end Trump? He’s the worst negotiator on the planet? Every time Trump blusters about bombing them, they sweeten their deal, & now have more economic geo-political influence than any time since the 70s. Maybe look at the Gulf States that bribed Trump but can’t export thru the straights.
The catering cart memes are doing me in ☠️😭

Please add any I missed in the replies. We need this laugh.

So, this recension gives Trump $75mm + by immunizing him from an unsubstantiated refund Trump received before he was elected the first time. The guy has paid nearly US income zero tax for decades.
But hey, he really gave up a lot and. I one has ever been treated worse.
“There is no fund.” Todd Blanche finally puts it in writing rescinding the $1.8B “anti-weaponization” fund after weeks of holdouts from Cornyn & Tillis. Amazing how fast “nothing to see here” turns into “fund rescinded.” Vote will be Tuesday!

Think thru IRS and regulatory immunity likely creates a tax free zone within the US. Trump companies become the vehicle for companies to receive tax free status simply by doing a reverse merger (branding) exercise. Imagine Trump SpaceX, Trump META & Trump BlackRock becoming tax free monopolies.

The Finland Sweden example demonstrates the futility of vouchers. Finland made sure public school teachers were well paid, trained and respected within society.
1992 Sweden started their voucher system.
Now decades later, Finland’s educational outcomes far exceed Sweden’s.
Texas is dumbing down.
Do you want to know how popular school vouchers are? They have never won on a ballot. Not once. In any state. Ever.

The only way states are able pass a school voucher scheme is behind closed doors. Legislatively. The people would never approve their tax dollars going to private religious schools.

I remember when wearing a mask was the definite tell of being in the bad guy. The one guy that did rode a white horse, wore silver guns & had a brown partner.

Today it’s ICE, the Patriot Front and any other right wing group of thugs seeking immunity for criminal acts conducted in America.
ICE is a menace to democracy and its murderous conduct should be soberly considered. But we should also recognize that these people are weak and sad and ought to be made fun of.

The lessons learned from the Minnesota, Houston & Maine ICE murders:
1. Be the target of ICE. ICE tends to kill people it’s not looking for.
2. Be a member of a well armed cartel or human trafficking group. ICE ignores people that might shoot back.
Rachel Maddow’s description of Juan Sebastian Guerrero killed by ICE in Maine is a must see.

She explains what happened w/out being graphic, and somehow that makes it even more powerful.

Remember Alex, Pretti, and Renée? There have been no prosecutions. Still no justice.

We know how this goes.

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days.

ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

After a year and a half, the largest police force in the US (ICE) has yet to find a well armed cartel dealing in drugs, human trafficking and extortion to deport.
Not one instance of ICE using force against cartels.
But multiple homicides of our hard working, tax paying, law abiding neighbors.
SHOCK NYT REPORT: DHS now admits the man ICE killed in Houston wasn't even their target. Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a 35-year U.S. resident, was just driving to work when agents — with no body cameras — shot him dead searching for two other men who weren't even in the van.

The population of Maine is 28% of the Texas county in which I reside. The senate map worked for governance of agrarian society 200 years ago.
Not that representative given modern urban population density.

“Everything Trump touches dies”
This loss to Belgium became inevitable the moment the White House placed that call.
BELGIUM scores again! It's now 4-1 against the USMNT with only a couple minutes left in stoppage time. This is the end of the road for the US in the World Cup. The Trump curse is real.

I have to admit, Tusli Gabbard dancing barefoot in an airport soliciting donations to Hari Krishna while playing a tambourine and ankle bells did not appear in my 2026 bingo card!!

The US becoming a malevolent kleptocracy, persecuting immigrants and citizens alike, denying health care and free speech.
Yet my breaking point was reached when my spouse informed me HEB tortillas are no longer made in store. Now they have factory applied red warning labels (for a reason).
Happy Father's Day 🖤

In a world where all countries are equal. Some countries are more equal than other countries.
Hello Mag: King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and their daughter Princess Ariane entered the Curaçao FIFA World Cup team's locker room to celebrate with the players after their draw against Ecuador gave them their first ever WC point. The nation is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

A decade after the Cubs finally lifted the curse of the Billy Goat along comes Donald J Bone Spurs.
Now the Knicks face the Curse of the Mango Mussolini.
Down 20 in the 3rd quarter of game four.
I knew it would happen.😡

He brought bad juju to the Garden.

He should have stayed the fuck away.

The corruption systemic within the Trump Administration now rivals Russian corruption of the 1990s. It’s eclipsed Hungarian, Indonesian, Angolan and a host of other despot dominated regimes.
WOW. Notice how he DIDN'T DENY the corruption accusation!

Yep, just an ordinary Thursday.
Friday’s got a $300 Billion (3 times the JPCOA) slush fund to Iran. Figure the straights stay closed little longer while Trumps son-in-law and that Mar-a-Lago real estate developer buddy angle for more than just a 50-50 split.
Corruption in plain sight. It will take a decade to fix this debacle.

Watching VP Vance or any member of this administration talk about going after fraud & corruption remains a joke. They should start with their own house
No bid pool contract
$2.5 Bil crypto
$400+ MM plane
$1 Bil campaign & inaugural bribes for tariff & reg exemptions
$1 Bil Ball Room Blitz

I’m trying to come up with a reason why replacing this Trump Administration with a commercially available AI (right now) would be anything but an improvement.
No doubt doing so would reduce the chaos and eliminate corruption. Probably generate policies to lower costs as well.
I Fully Endorse this Idea….

The message from Hungary this weekend: Simply vote in such over whelming numbers no one can ignore.
Forcing Trump’s removal via a guaranteed to fail 25th Amendment or impeachment lets him to play the martyr. It strengthens his cronies resolve to retain power.

Overwhelm them at the ballot box.
