I don't want tax cuts. I want services that work for all of us. What good is extra money in my pocket if I'm terrified to go out to my local hospital in an emegency. Or if a large proportion of people in my city are living in poverty or homelessness or with addiction.

i was the only english speaker at my table tonight and by far the youngest. when dessert came (a basque cheesecake, unusual in bosnia) i said "that's basque cheesecake." that didn't stop all three from individually taking photos asking their AI what it was. the AI confirmed it was basque cheesecake.

working for a trade union we get a lot of comments on our stuff on why we post “so much” about palestine: 1) because israel targets workers, and solidarity is fundamental to the labour struggle but also 2) we need to stand up for workers rights to political expression - and athletes are workers
