I’m more of a dog guy, but our local bookstore (The Bookman, in scenic Grand Haven, MI) has a cat (and a dog), and the cat is the friendlier of the two.
I have to admit, I’ve bought a couple of extra books over time just to stop in and commiserate with that cat.
It’s a cool cat.

I went to lunch with a buddy yesterday and he and his wife had just gotten back from a road trip where they went to the actual field of dreams house. They were impressed.

Even with this schedule, I’m just not sure how many games they can win with this defense. Not much noticeable improvement week to week.
It’s one thing getting torched by the Bills. Carolina has two of their top three WRs out, a make-shift OL, and they look pretty unstoppable.

They built their entire offense around a guy who can’t throw the football. He can’t get through progressions, can’t read defenses.
He’s not their only problem (too many penalties and banged-up OL aren’t helping), but they’ve got to bench the kid if they want any chance to right their ship.

But I’m talking about his tenure there. He’s the only one without a franchise QB, and he’s been as competitive as anybody.
