Part-time estate planning attorney until the next chapter.
Third culture, trilingual, half decaf.

Everyone has a story.
Ich versuche meine Eltern daran zu errinnern, wie super das war, wann wir als Polnische Bürger in Wien in den 80er Jahren lebten. Auch mit PhDs.
Aber nein. "The Strange Death of Europe" liegt auf dem Kafeetisch. 🙄

Tied! Also with a 91 rarity. Somehow left the volume on and it cheered at the end 😂 thanks for the introduction to an alternative to the 🐝

"Ask Janine and Lori" to confirm that he doesn't know his address.
Goodness, this is making me more mad than I expected on a fine fall Thursday.

Reminds me just a bit of Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert in terms of mood changes and flow. Beautiful. Will send to the guitarist kid.

We are but mere peons 🙏

And I'm going to be a peon with popcorn as this unfolds.

🙃
I'm disgusted (those mf'ers) --> hopeful (more people will see their utter crapness!) and gleeful (hahaha they wrote it down! First rule - don't put it in writing)

Smollest bean lawyer here, but I'd say it's a statement that goes to show knowledge/awareness of actions. How much it ends up supporting the other side, depends: What are the "elements" of the conduct that you need to prove before you can win ("They did X Y Z and knew").
So 1 & 2 for me.

Those Session t-shirt designs are fantastic!!!

Oh, I hadn't even thought of the inks. Yikes indeed!
Glad to hear there's no path preemptively excluded tho. One never knows.

Freshman kid is off to an on-campus studio apartment next week -- and I don't care if he thinks the fire extinguisher is too much. You're cooking? You have an extinguisher.
September 15, 2026 at 7:08 PM
Reminds me of Merlin Sheldrake who let a copy of his book on mushrooms go... mushroom-y, and then stir-fried and ate it. 🍄‍🟫📖 there's a video out there somewhere

Kid about to start at the UW, says he's not worried, that his generation doesn't live in fear of Covid. His small middle school was very strict about lockdown rules and didn't have lunch in classrooms until fall 2022, and I wonder how much of the current attitude was shaped there.

Reading now and what a profoundly beautiful choice to add "of us." Leave it out, and people are left further away. Add it, and we are family:

"[...] because a single crease has a high incidence in those of us with a particular chromosomal anomaly known as trisomy 21"

And on the West Coast, it is Giant House Spider Season.
Husband: AAAAA!!!
Me: Do you need a glass for him?
Husband: We don't have a glass large enough. Don't come downstairs.

Perhaps your arachnids and ours are sharing tales. (love the drawing!)

Tee hee! Yes. With a caramel spine, some sweet sap if you will 🌲
Back in the day when you couldn't readily get it in WA, we would on rare occasions find Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewing. Talk about pine cone in a bottle 🙏😌

I'm a West Coast IPA person when I do go for a beer -- there are some good options here in Seattle -- but that's rare because I'm in my 50s, tired, and can't hear in bars 🤪

I'm not a beer drinker when back in my ol' home country, but "ice cold" is not something any of my relatives do unless its vodka.

This will be good news for the orcas??

The only "bad actor" hurting my backyard is climate change.

Going to see my best friend in Austria next month, will read up on European regulations (and leave room in the suitcase if need be).

My PCP once suggested red yeast rice extract instead of a statin... an unregulated, dosage-mystery "statin" 🫠

I'm waiting for the full book to see if Bottomhead's "physical world" wisdom comes into play (not including eating questionable things!).

😥the pattern of SCOTUS preferencing whatever the admin wants makes this a not-great time.

This looks like a watercolor study! Just gorgeous.

I was thinking, what pathetic cowards. But then realized that no, ethics here play zero role. They're doing what needs to be done to protect shareholder profits. That's the only driver.
