Oliver has never met his father, and doesn't know much about him. Sometimes Oliver wanders if he's out there still, and what he's doing if so.

Final Fantasy IX was my first FF, and it's still one of my favorite video games to this day. The very beginning is one of my favorite parts, especially when Garnet and Zidane meet.
