I had the honor of teaming up with the incredible author @omnipretzel.bsky.social to bring some amazing Eldritch!LBH/SQQ to life!

And a big thanks to @minibingqiurevbang.bsky.social for hosting such a fun reverse minibang!!! <3

Shen Yuan is sitting on a bed, reading a tablet in the dark. Eldritch!Luo Binghe (long, sinuous body, humanoid torso, prehensile hair with red eyes throughout) is wrapped around him, looking over his shoulder at the tablet, and creeping up the bed.

White text on a black background with a red border:
“Tianlang-Jun wins.
Everyone agrees this is a terrible mistake, most of all Tianlang-Jun.
He wins and Zhuzhi-Lang dies and the sky is an endless oblivion of red and black and hopelessness he cannot outrun.
Then, one day, he wakes up. He wakes up and the sky is blue.
*it’s blue, it’s blue, it’s blue—*
The sky is blue and his nephew is alive and the world suddenly looks bright again.
If there is one thing he knows for certain, it’s that he was never meant to be a hero. But one doesn’t need to be a hero to deserve a second chance, do they?”

You should all definitely give it a read! I had the luck to be able to beta this fic, and the entire time I was absolutely in love 💕

Mars・ TLJ ENTHUSIAST @artistfrommars.bsky.social · Feb 26

My fic “Deus Ex Machina Protocol” is coming this Friday! It includes such wonders as: time travel second chances, Tianlang-Jun being his usual self, and (everyone’s favorite!) painful realizations about the core beliefs we form in childhood.
If any of that interests you, check it out!
#SvsssBigBang

Text with a teal-ish border reads:
“You didn’t… you didn’t kill them,” Shang Hua notes.
Tianlang-Jun’s head tilts at the observation.
“No.”
There is a pause.
“Why?”
Tianlang-Jun joins the cultivator on the grass, laying on his back. Humming, he puts a hand to the sky, palm up.
“Have you never been kind, just because?”
A chuckle. It’s sharper than he would have expected.
“Why does that matter?”
Tianlang-Jun looks over and thinks he puts together another piece of the puzzle that is their god in this world. Shang Hua is the type of man who no one has ever been kind to before.”

Coming to ao3 on Feb 17th: SVSSS meets the 2006 banger Night at the Museum in a modern au nobody asked for.

Featuring beautiful artwork from Tempo, Sea, and Qiye!

Night at Cang Qiong Museum snippet: The little cowboy said nothing, only stared at Shen Yuan in wonder. Was he the first full size human the figurine had come into contact with? Shen Yuan had been the one to help carry up the boxes of miniatures from the collections store room below the museum but he didn’t know if they had ever been displayed before. He was about to ask when there was suddenly a little pinch of pain on the outer edge of his hand.
“Ouch! What the…” He shifted his hand to look, careful not to jostle the little cowboy too much.
Stuck into his skin was what looked like a toothpick, though it had been painted a darker metallic color. He plucked it out easily, it hadn’t even broken skin, and his eyes traced back its trajectory. Standing in the Roman half of the display was a second figure, already grabbing another toothpick, which Shen Yuan realized now were meant to be javelins, and preparing to throw it.
“Put my nephew down, giant!” The man yelled, hurling the javelin with all his might. It missed, bouncing harmlessly off the sleeve of the security jacket.

I just finished the svsss big bang! I can't wait to share my story (my first BingYuan fic, and the longest thing I've ever written!) and the amazing art my team made for it. #svsssbigbang

Fic Summary:

When Shen Yuan wakes up, disoriented and immobilized in a strange bed, he thinks his poor choice in meals has landed him in the hospital. Again. The food poisoning must have triggered some sort of relapse, too, since the doctors have gone all out and put him on the really good meds—he can barely see, and he can't move his limbs at all.

In a strange stroke of luck, though, his doctors seem familiar with PIDW. But why are they asking about Shen Qingqiu?

(In which Shen Yuan transmigrates into end-game Shen Qingqiu without realizing it, and Luo Binghe takes the opportunity to show his new, apparently-amnesiac "disciple" what it's like to have a cruel and powerful Shizun. It doesn't go quite like he expects.)
