My friends and I were playing Vagabond for a little bit before taking a break to play Pokemon tabletop. Here's some doodles where I play a dragonborn and picked up a cursed object. I also somewhere along the lines accidentally obliterated my mentor with said cursed object.
A woman with red hair shows some rocks to a dragonborn woman and asks here "Are these berries?" Two men are making a campfire behind them. Portrait of a silver dragonborn woman. A human male and a female dragonborn are wrapped around the waist of a large orc man in an awkward fashion because they are all fighting in a narrow hallway. A female dragonborn cleric opening her bag to find a cursed object she THOUGHT she gave to the enchantress to study. She is obviously unamused and saying "I don't know what I expected" in a similar manner from Arrested Development's "Dead Dove Do Not Eat" scene.

Happy Labor Day!

Today we're bringing you The First Union, as told by HBomberguy (@hbomberguy.bsky.social) and illustrated by Skutch (@skutchdraws.bsky.social) It's the dawn of the industrial revolution, and of the way many of us work...

Have you ever heard of the term "Luddite" from an elder?
Stanhill, Lancashire, 1764. Wear and carpenter James Hargreaves invents the Spinning Jenny, the first practical spinning-frame, to make the tedious task of producing cloth a little bit faster. He doesn't know it yet, but this will destroy the world. Spurred by inventions like his, the industrial revolution will transform everything -- work power, the wealth of nations. Society as we know it began here, and it wasn't great for everyone. But a group of weavers and textile workers saw this future coming. And did their best to prevent it. "Curse you spinning jenny, you ruined everything!" The standard narrative does that LUDDITES were foolish lunatics who, in fear of technology, decided progress was bad, and started hitting it with sticks. But the truth is entire ways of life were being destroyed. Previously, skilled craftsmen were respected for the time and effort it took to do their work. The entire family usit would form a cottage industry - creating something valuable, and command a decent living. But when a machine can work 10 times faster its owner can charge less for the prodcts- craftsmen couldn't compete and were left out of work almost overnight. And as factories became a fixture of the british landscape, these now unemployed labourers often ended up working the factories that had just destroyed their way of life. Britain was the most prosperous nation in history, factory owners became extremely wealthy and influential. But the people doing the actual work saw almost none of it. Factory work paid little, since "the machines" did "the real work" human labourers were deemed unimportant and replaceable. FUN FACT!: Factory owners preferred to hire ORPHANS since less people would notice if they were maimed or killed on the job! Now the owners quickly realized the workers might notice they did all the work for almost no pay. If they went on STRIKE or ARGUED FOR HGHER WAGES, this would threaten their tremendous wealth. In 1799, Parliament passed the Combination Act, which made FORMING TRADE UNIONS, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, AND GOING ON STRIKE ILLEGAL. Organizing against the rich became a crime. If you were living through it, opposing the industrial revolution wasn't techno-phobia. It was SELF-DEFENSE. The combination act forced unions underground into secret societies. And the greatest secret of all was their leader - Ned Ludd. Ned had been a folk character for years. In one version after being whipped by his master, he smashed two knitting frames in a rage. In more fanciful versions, he then escaped to the Sherwood forest, here he lived among the animals as their king. Some versions specifically call him 'Much Better Than Robin Hood'.

Stuff like this is perfect because it shows how utterly devoid of creativity genAI evangelists are.

Great you recreated a photo that already exists in a drawing style that only has currency because of who you're stealing it from giving the world something with absolutely no value or meaning.

OpenAI released a new version of their image generation technology, and people are using it to recreate memes in the style of Studio Ghibli.

Found a cool wand

#WorldOfWarcraft
A zoomed in screenshot of my mage character holding a wand called Rocket Taped to a Screwdriver, that does in fact look like a goblin-style rocket taped to a screwdriver. The yellow description text on the tooltip says "It's genius." The goblins are all right.

Asking the visitors around Dornogal about their thoughts on Jaina Proudmoore and her role in the Kirin Tor 💜🎤 (also known as me dispelling the idea that I hate Jaina, featuring my four mains (in character): Shazi, Waria, Telarius and Palanzual) 💙

#worldfowarcraft #skymagpieart #shazidra #WoWoc
The art from the entire post is styled like a news channel report. In the top left corner the name of the channel is "KTV" and it has the Kirin Tor logo. All the interviews take place in Dornogal. There is a microphone in each shot, which breaks the immersion for comedic value. The microphone is purple and it says "KT news" on it, with the eye of the Kirin Tor symbol. Shazi is interviewed as she is walking through Dornogal. The interviewer asks "What are your thoughts on Jaina Proudmoore?". Without stopping, Shazi flips her hair and replies "I don't think about Jaina Proudmoore. On the left side of the screen there is news like graphic with the Kirin Tor logo and it says "Wariani, Deathlord of the Ebon Blade." On screen we see a female draenei Deathknight who has grabbed the microphone from the interviewers hand. She says: "Jaina Proudmoore is one of the greatest heroes this world has ever known. She is also third on our list for potential candidates to raise in undeath for the Ebon Blade." On screen is a confused looking Night Elf druid (Telarius). The interviewer asks "What are your thoughts on Jaina Proudmoore?". He replies "I don't know, I just woke up." On screen is a Zandalari troll with long dark blue hair and light gray skin. The graphic on the side says "Palanzual, Prelate in service of the Zandalari Royal Family". The interviewer holds up the microphone, but there is no text. No one says anything.

Drawing done for Ivoryforge of their dracthyr. It was nice to get back to drawing again.
A dracthyr from Warcraft depicted from the waist up. A glowing scroll is floating in their hands in front of them. The dracthyr is wearing purple and silver armor and has bronze scales. Their wings are folded and have silver webbing.
