Taking care of my bees is nice.
This image shows 5 langstroth beehives. 2 on the left and 3 on the right. All sitting on wooden pallets. The hive boxes are painted different colors. The sun is shining, the weeds are growing around everything. If you look closely, you can see many bees flying because they catch the sunlight and look like little spots of pale light.

Spotted Queen Mirabel yesterday. The hive was packed and the bees were cross combed to the brim, so I did an early walk away split. I’ll check them again on Thursday or Friday. 🤞

Last year I wanted to do 12 paintings in 12 months. I failed miserably, but maybe this year I will because I’m motivated to step away from the world a little more often.

Thrifting for Vaseline glass is another favorite pastime when the internet is too much. One found a goodwill the other at a local thrift store. 🙌
