Oh no…people are having age-of-consent discourse over the faithful remake of a 30-year-old game, and they also seem to be forgetting that 18 is not the magical number for adulthood in all countries. Also forgetting that it is not the magic number for the country that created the game. Oh no.

Re-evaluating my concerns about the art style/graphics for the OoT remake because I’m just now realizing that what they’re giving us is a current-gen interpretation of the concept art from the original game.
I used to own the official game guide book w/ all the character illustrations. I forgot.

Also also, as detailed and incredibly well-rendered as the remake is shaping up to be…it still feels somehow too clean/whimsical for my taste. Idk. We didn’t see any redead so I can’t properly gauge if the art style is still capable of being creepy in some spots or not.

A little reminder that enjoying yourself is never a waste of time. Hours into a videogame isn't a waste of time. Learning something for fun isn't a waste of time. I love learning new things, I have so many I learned once and never did again. Never a waste of time.

I hate enshittification so much. I can’t even pay most bulls using a website anymore. Banking and bill pay sites I’ve used for years are now inaccessible/unusable to me. I have to use smart apps now.
