Well I need something pinned here, I do videos of the anime/ anime-related variety and here are random screencaps of various videos I've done, I think that'll be more cool than just me posting a link (all links in my bio tho, including if anyone needs any video editing, attached a playlist too!)
Incredibly cute. Short and simple but executes on a lot of its components well, even able to utilize storytelling in its "levels" alongside the colorful and endearing visuals. Sucks that there isn't a dedicated arcade mode to jam out, but for the scope of the project, I really enjoyed this!

I've actually also had my eye on this, but, easy cheat code its a rhythm game that seems to be more minigame focused which is hella fun and has such a cute art style. Also very underworld "horror" I suppose but yeah, this seems like it'll be a real cute time

There's actually been an uptick of people pushing back on "sakuga" in terms of intense action scenes that have too much "spectacle" and are "hard to read", and my hottest take is that, yeah, if any of these popular action shows weren't filled with super humans maybe we would have more choreography

Decided to get rage baited and checked what people's vibes were on Sengoku Rance on Steam. It will always surprise me how angry and weird people get about a game that has already been released elsewhere on "private" platforms now being released on a "public" platform. Like duh its gonna get changed

and also tangentially related was that short time when ppl complained that anime openings were now just "trendy dances" and I'm like damn none of the shows I watched have a dance to them I wish I got a cool dance too. People see a pattern and assume totality and absolutism, it is what it is
There was a sentiment I'd never heard before that I often think about because I think it is compelling, which is this gripe with "modern music" being too short. This is a compounding effect with a lot of things, primarily with the "tiktok-ificaiton" of music because, short=viral

Remember when Crunchyroll tried to make their subtitles significantly worse a year ago? They backtracked on it at the time, but I suspected they were just delaying their plans to shift from Aegisub to OOONA, and sadly, it seems I was right: Crunchyroll is actively pushing OOONA subs to users now.
