Just wanted to come out of hiding and say that after using it for a week, gpt5 is really good for coding. It's a step-change over Claude, which I still love, but gpt5 has noticeably accelerated me. It doesn't lose the plot after context gets large. Less hallucinations. Amazing. Using w Cursor.

So I was working on this fractal and trying to make it look great but then my GPU got overwhelmed and crashed my whole computer. I hadn't saved the source code but at least I got some screenshots. :/ It's mostly a Mandelbulb, stochastically ray traced with my own custom ray tracer.
