Yes and people were writing books long before computers. I'm sure many still do. AI is just a tool you can choose to use and many software devs do. I guess games are just a lot bigger and more complex nowadays so development takes time, with or without AI.

Sure, and that's absolutely fine. I just feel that there's this general anti-AI hysteria, where people hate anything and everything related to AI without really understanding how or why it's being used. Of course, people are free to have their preferences, I just think it gets quite silly at times.

The thing is, most software development today includes AI to some extent. Even if not fully vibe coding, devs use AI to help debug and tab complete to speed up development. I feel like expecting no AI use in game development is like only reading books if they were typed with a typewriter.
