Slow Saturday morning brunch at home, and we just saw a fox(!) run past our living room window. At broad daylight. A city fox, sure, but I still feel like I live in some countryside instead of Finland's third largest city. (No pic this time, the fox was too quick for that)

Help! My husband is seriously considering buying a mini excavator. And they sell them in our nearest super market... Luckily they sold out instantly. Which, in turn is also a bit worrying. Inside many Finnish men there's a little excavator waiting to fulfil its potential, huh? #humor #marriedlife

We had to cut down two maple trees from our garden. They were damaged and in danger of falling down (we had a professional arborist's evaluation of them). This is what I've been doing today, then... chopping wood and putting it to dry for the summer, before storing it to the den for winter.

Yesterday I was doing some aquarelle sketching with my friend. At the Kopparnäs seaside, the temperature was approx. 24 Celsius, wind speed was 5 meters per second. Quite nice. We saw a grass snake swimming by the sea shore, swans and a flock of flying great cormorants! #pleinairpainting

May I present... my pen syndrome! These were found around my home when I was packing. We didn't have many pens at my chilhood home, and those few we did were always missing. The common question was "where's the pen?" (Don't understand why we didn't have enough of them, as they're a cheap commodity)

Enpä olisi uskonut 20-vuotiaana, kun hairahduin hetkeksi opiskelemaan filosofiaa yliopistoon, kuinka paljon olen saanut oivalluksia ja työkaluja kyseisestä tieteenalasta omaan työhöni. Tässä taas ollaan filosofian äärellä, tällä kertaa ratkaisukeskeisen työnohjauksen opintoihin liittyen.

Enpä olisi uskonut 20-vuotiaana, kun hairahduin hetkeksi opiskelemaan filosofiaa yliopistoon, kuinka paljon olen saanut oivalluksia ja työkaluja kyseisestä tieteenalasta omaan työhöni. Tässä taas ollaan filosofian äärellä, tällä kertaa ratkaisukeskeisen työnohjauksen opintoihin liittyen.
Ei nyt ihan voittajan tunti mutta opiskelijan vartti päivän aluksi. Menee varmaan vappukin osittain opiskelun merkeissä. Hyvää työn ja opiskelijain juhlaa kaikille!

Scientists enabled test persons to see a new, extremely vibrant colour named "olo" by stimulating eye's M cone cells. The test might turn useful in studying colour blindness.

Scientists enabled test persons to see a new, extremely vibrant colour named "olo" by stimulating eye's M cone cells. The test might turn useful in studying colour blindness.
