I'm learning Irish on Duolingo. If I do say so myself, I'm pretty good at reading, pronouncing, and comprehending words and phrases. But spelling them? Actually writing them out? Totally baffling. Not an easy language to learn.

When I was a child, my piano teacher regularly told me that I'd drive her to an early grave. She died last month - aged 105! Not such an early grave after all.
