I have a question for German Star Trek writers who have a love for style guides.
This is INCREDIBLY niche/pedantic and I know it is asking you to go against your instincts in regards to German article gender. But I honestly think German Trek’s translation team has been making a 50-year-long error.

Yes I know it’s sometimes a title. BUT sometimes it’s not, and is a whole name, like Oz is my first name but I don’t use feminine for “die Unz”.

Much as I love Tolkien and Milne when reading to my daughter, and a little circumlocution is good fun in childrens’ books, especially when portraying character thoughts, boy they do waffle on sometimes!

I fucking love how #StarTrek Starfleet Academy leans heavily into the tropes of the teen drama show it's making. It's so on the nose, but also FUN!
There's a Klingon called "Jayden". 😂
Jay means "intensely," but rude. Den means "attractive".

It's not an oft-discussed easter egg, but I do love how this setup (previously used in the Lord of the Rings animated film) is beginning to be its own Akira bike slide.
