During today's massive attack on Ukraine, russia struck an ordinary apartment building in Pryluky, in Chernihiv region.
14 people, including 4 children, were killed. Another 50 people were injured, 7 of them children‼️

Talking about forest fires after the summer megafire in Bordeaux France. I was asked if a burnt forest is always a lost forest. And it made me think about the Sviati Hory national park and all of its dead trees, in Ukraine, which could turn into a lost forest.

Les feux extrêmes qui ont touché la Gironde cet été soulèvent de nombreuses interrogations : que respirons-nous lorsque les fumées s’étendent bien au-delà des flammes ? Quelles conséquences ces incendies ont-ils sur les écosystèmes ? Et surtout, à quoi ressembleront les forêts de demain face au changement climatique ? À l’université de Bordeaux, de nombreuses équipes travaillent sur ces enjeux, dans des disciplines aussi variées que complémentaires. Les chercheurs présentés ici ne sont qu’un aperçu de cette diversité d’expertises mobilisées pour mieux comprendre les incendies, leurs effets et les transformations qu’ils annoncent.

Finally, the French government ruled to send home the russian woman who was openly and constantly serving putin’s propaganda on French TV. She should be happy to go back to her nice country and leave behind the horror of Paris!

Russia murdered French photojournalist Antoni Lallican with an FPV drone.
