OCs for web comic idea.

I'm currently writing a short story with a modern era fantasy world as the setting. This is a early concept for the two main characters. Pose reference @theposearchives.bsky.social

It's October and while many are taking part in #inktober, I'm personally going to work on creating original characters and character design. Let's make it a #OCtober.

I've included a collection of OCs I created earlier this year.
A collection of original character drawings.

Puma Twins.

Stealing Lucy Kushinada's wardrobe, stealing a pulse rifle, different universes is no boundary for them.

I wanted to give each twin their own personality and this art is based on their cameo appearance in The Ghost in the Shell 2026 anime.

WIP Wednesday. Puma Twins.

I always wanted to draw them after their cameo in The Ghost in the Shell anime 2026. Left twin missing her hand, I'm having some trouble with her cheer cone.

Gym Girl.

Probably my best OC character art to date. At the time she was for a sci-fi setting but as is the artwork has nothing that indicates that the character is from that setting.

A woman with short red hair and muscular build wearing a black gym-wear clothes.

Thank you so much.

Whether it is 10 or 10K, I wanted to show my appreciation to those who decided to subscribe at this early stage of my web comic journey.

Background art is awesome but also hard to do. I've avoided doing it but it's very important for creating and setting scenes in web comics.

For this artwork I created tree stamps that I could duplicate and add detail where needed.
An image of a big tree, like the world tree from fantasy with smaller trees growing around it. Practice drawing background art.

It's Friday, so lets make it a Frieren Friday.

I was experimenting with diamond shaped eyes for this one.

WIP Wednesday. Muscle Anatomy Study.

Goal: Create characters for webcomic.

Reality: Unless I'm planning my webcomic to have nothing but female characters, I must also draw male characters.

New Goal: Learn more anatomy.

Helltaker inspired demon girl art.

Did this after one of my drawings reminded a viewer over on Reddit of the Helltaker game.

Comic Page Test.

A big milestone for me. I learned a lot when actually creating a comic book page. One of biggest challenges was keeping everything consistent across multiple panels.

The second post has the full page (CW: guns / firearms).

I did this as part of an art course exercise where you take a character you like and swap their hairstyle with another.

Thank you to the redditors at DigitalArt who provided advice to help me finish this artwork.

I learned not to overuse the airbrush and blur tool when rendering hair and skin.
