The tribes of Fenris canonically have fighting Shieldmaiden bands. If one of those saves the life of a Wolf Priest & demands to join the Sky Warriors... Why not? They're the ultimate pragmatists.

Trolls and a giant wiped out a unit of Slayers. Squigs rampaged across the board then got smacked with axes. Cannons killed goblins by the dozen and nobody cared. 6 fanatics destroyed the Dwarf King and his unit. 🤣

Absolutely. It would actually take longer to use contrast paints than just paint them old school.
