DS2 MY FUCKING GOAT

I'll miss you Snowflake. Sleep well.

"So I write. I write about a cottage in the Twelvewood haunted by happy memories. Where the old wooden grain still smells faintly of freshly baked sweet bread. A place where, if I listen closely, I can still hear a warm voice welcoming me inside."

"An' once they are gone, all ye can think about is the time ye could have spent with them, the stories ye will never hear from them, the smiles and good cheer that ye won't ever get to see again. And before you know it, you can't even remember their voice or their face."

"I was told that she was at least in company, and that it was as peaceful as death can be. That's the thing about death. Someone can be chipper as a beaver, with no indication of ill, and the next they are just... gone. Death takes and takes before ye can even blink."

"Which is why, despite 'just this once,' I was never shy about returning when I was in the area. But one day, her door didn't open. Hanging from it was a 'for sale' sign. When I asked the closest neighbor about it, I found out she had passed on. Disease, apparently."

"She said it even on the sixth time and beyond. For grumpy as she could look, once inside, she would waste no time preparing a meal, a bed, and conversation. By the twelve, but could that woman talk. Quick to lend out a hug as well, kind as kind can be."

If the sunlight spear miracle from DS2 is anything to go off of, it's gonna shred anything she throws it at.
