This gets back to the moravec’s paradox thing where we wrongly assume that if a computer can do something we think is hard, it must also be able to do all the things we would have to learn to do in order to do that hard thing.
if a human can drive around a specific neighborhood while being evaluated by another human who confirms a lack of basic errors, we as a society have decided that that person "can drive"
