Not-that-kind-of-pastor. Born in the USA, at home in Bonnie Scotland. Lover of pop culture, teacher and student of film. Just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.
If the Democrats were smart they would latch onto AI as a central campaign issue, pledging to pursue safeguards and boundaries to protect the world from malicious use of AI, either by dodgy individuals or by the AI bots themselves.

People would support that, methinks.

So...let me understand this latest episode of "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds"...

...it takes place in a star system where radiation makes everything look black and white. And it just so happens that in this star system there's a planet whose culture physically resembles noir films of the 40s...

So it looks like Thursday's speech is going to be recycled claims from D'Souza's ridiculous "2000 Mules" film.

But the cult will eat it all up. They will buy it hook, line, and sinker. And I really fear for the midterms.

Remember, folks...every accusation is a confession.

Anyone who thinks live action “Moana” is actually worse than live action “Snow White” needs to take a deep breath and think it through.

Seeing a lot of "The USA can still win the World Cup if Mike Pence has the courage to do the right thing" posts.

It will never not be funny to me.

I know complaining about verisimilitude in a movie about talking toys is kinda ridiculous...but can we talk about device connectivity in Toy Story 5? I mean, seriously...how does that work???

What a surprise that the denomination that jut elected as President a man who denies years of child abuse in SBC churches now doubles-down on a biased, narrow interpretation of Scripture that denies the obvious move of God’s Spirit.

The Trump cult tells you that if you disagree with his direction for the country it's because you hate America.

I believe the opposite. I believe that opposition to Trump and his ilk is driven by love for America and grief over how it is being destroyed all to stroke the ego of one man.

Funny how the economy was so good a couple of months ago and it was all Trump, but now that it's faltering it's back to being "Biden's economy."

So predictable.
