Cherry Point United Methodist Church, Havelock, NC 8-30-2026 On Sunday, August 30, 2026 Rev. Suzanne Parker Miller was the guest preacher at Cherry Point United Methodist Church in Havelock, NC. She was there to celebrate public education during their 5th Sunday Mission Service. Worship included hearing from the counselor of Havelock Middle School and Principal of Havelock High School. The offering went to needs of students at Havelock Middle School.  Rev. Suzanne's sermon was "The Beloved Community Of Sesame Street" and included friends Big Bird, Kermit, and Elmo joining her in the pulpit.

Godwin Heights Baptist ChurchEducation Sunday 9-28-2025 On Sunday, September 28, 2025 Godwin Heights Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC welcomed Rev. Suzanne Parker Miller to be their guest preacher for Education Sunday. Worship leadership during the service was also provided by teachers and staff from the church's partner elementary school that is across the street from the congregation. Rev. NC Legislature And Courts Continue To Deny Law and Justice to NC Children: a reflection from the Love Forward Together March February 11-14, 2026 Earlier this month I served as a Clergy Captain driving a support vehicle during the 50 mile Love Forward Together March from Wilson to Raleigh with Repairers of the Breach on February 11-13. For three days we creeped along the main streets of small towns and back country roads through Wilson, Nash, Johnson, and Wake counties to the Capitol.
