And, how is it?

"the spirit of love of Christianity"

You lose me when you connect this to "left politics." Maybe a concrete example would help.

Not sure "trait" the right approach. Instead ask whether waving the Confederate flag on campus might be considered hostile to Black people. In our recent past, campuses canceled people for advocating merit based admissions and the idea that sex is based on biology.

"I am against all religion"

So is China. So was Stalin and the old USSR.

It's fine that you are opposed to religion but the idea that this must yield a better outcome (than being religious) is bizarre.

Wow. I have your first 3 but I have Atlanta winning it all.

I like Mabrey but she missed the last quarter of the season. The only active player on the Tempo comparable to FJ is Rice. I saw Toronto earlier this season when they weren't so beat up and they seemed reasonably competent. Has the Storm ever looked good?
September 25, 2026 at 12:20 PM
Do the Tempo have any healthy player as good as Seattle's 3 young stars?

France is terrific but this was a better, deeper team than in Paris and in the 2d half the US handled them in a way it never showed in 2024.

She's going to ride her best this game. The best sub at that spot is Rhyne. Maybe more that than being dissatisfied w Paige.

Kara's main subs are AB, Angel, Rhyne and Clark. That's 9 deep. There aren't a lot of minutes left. If Paige gets in and gets going in the 2d maybe it changes.

Except It wasn't a "mistake," as if he weighed a choice and selected wrong.

AES shares with Piker an anti-Zionism that is extremist on its own terms. It would have been so easy for him to have said Israel has a right to exist, it should just stop killing Palestinians and stealing their land.
September 13, 2026 at 5:46 PM
Our vets definitely look better than the first time young players but they haven't looked that good. It's interesting that these are the same players who struggled on offense against France in the Olympic finals. Two years later, they don't look like their chemistry is better.
September 13, 2026 at 12:10 AM
Still, a very nice showing by the home country against a stacked France team capable of winning it all.

She fractured her foot in the '23 playoffs, got surgery after the season and was in a walking boot for the start of the '24 season. I don't think she looked remotely like herself until the end of that season and I don't think she was fully back until '25.

Isn't this exactly the situation where China is supposed to use it's good offices with Germany and the US and we're supposed to respect that so when it happens to one of our (US & Germany) high profile people, we get the same courtesy? Also, why can't she just arrive late?
September 2, 2026 at 11:17 PM
I'm surprised Boston has stayed in. I think she's been playing hurt.

Also surprised they replaced A'ja w/ KikI rather than Austin. I don't see a lot of depth in the middle what with A'ja gone and I'm going to guess limitations on AB's minutes.

It is multicultural and multiethnic, multi-religious too. Unlike its Muslim neighbors. This is a fact which cannot be undone by rhetoric.

And as far as fantasizing about the US "destroying" Israel, you're sounding just like Trump.
August 25, 2026 at 9:51 PM
Now you have nothing and you're going to brag about it :)
August 25, 2026 at 9:45 PM
It's a state. It has universal health care. Its citizens have rights. It has an economy. It makes medical advances. It's multicultural and multiethnic.

The regime is bad, but so is ours.

Hamas has been in power for 20 years in Gaza, got incredible foreign subsidies, and built nothing.
August 25, 2026 at 9:27 PM
So, you have nothing concrete.
August 25, 2026 at 9:21 PM
Really? All are inbred?

How did he explain why he supports hard core Communist dictators who murder millions put dissidents in camps etc?

How did he explain his celebration of Hamas, an organization that has no redeeming qualities, unlike Israel which has built a functioning state?
August 25, 2026 at 9:05 PM
Plural, not singular: Mao was a great leader. Hamas is a thousand times better than Israel. Orthodox Jews are inbred. America deserved 9/11. AES knew what Piker was about.
August 25, 2026 at 10:31 AM
I think most Jews agree w/you on ultranationalism. Whether they call that Zionism is not clear to me.
August 25, 2026 at 2:07 AM
Your comment is a mischaracterization. The argument is that Bundism failed because Nazism wasn't going to be defeated (in time) so Jews needed to leave.
August 25, 2026 at 1:38 AM
"Nakba denial ... should be seen as a moral redline"

The Nakba issue is less about what happened and more about why this is seen differently, than the expulsion of Hindus from Pakistan, Germans from Poland, Jews from Yemen. Whether Palestinians were "expelled," or fled, they were not let back in.
August 25, 2026 at 1:30 AM
"Gaza genocide denial should be seen as a moral redline akin to Shoah denial,"

This is ridiculous. 1. Gaza is not remotely like Shoah. 2. Shoah denial is about saying the Nazis didn't kill the Jews, which is a lie. Gaza is about how to define genocide, which is an abstraction.
