Attorney in Columbus, Ohio. Pro-worker. Former Democratic candidate for Ohio House of Representatives, District 9.
I am watching the OSU vs. Texas game, and there was an attack ad against James Talarico.

They are using a quote of him saying, "Defending trans Texans is something we have to do every day." They are acting like that is a scandalous quote.

Hilarious or deeply disturbing?

Honestly, it is kind of a red flag for someone even to know the word Rhodesia.
Jon Husted’s staffer took part in “Nazi military exercises” & had a “Tales from Rhodesia” Spotify playlist.

The fact that significant swathes of the media ignore the multiple major Republican campaign staffers outed as Neo-Nazis (to focus on Hasan Piker instead) is journalistic malpractice.

Trump's attacks on our civil liberties didn't come out of nowhere.

The groundwork for his Orwellian surveillance state was laid by the post-9/11 PATRIOT Act.

Only one Senator at the time had the foresight to see what it would unleash.

Few people have ever been owed a bigger apology than Conor Lamb.
Fetterman and McCormick both support Trump’s “let data reign” on data centers yet in actual Pennsylvania, parents are fighting a data center that would increase noise across from a school by 8x, penetrating its walls with sound. No help from either senator. www.thecentersquare.com/pennsylvania...

I tried to make a list of the political issues important to me.

I was today years old when I realized that my #1 political issue is the environment.

I still think Michelle Obama was the person we should have nominated in 2024 after Joe Biden dropped out.
And since Trump and Republicans don’t really care about the Constitution:

Obama 2028.

About time. People who stand up to the Trump Administration usually win. People who lie down make it more difficult for the next people.

It does not take psychic abilities to know that a person with a long history of not telling the truth will lie to you in the future.
CNBC: Do you regret voting for RFK Jr?

BILL CASSIDY: If you want to tell me that somebody didn't tell me the truth, and I should've seen in the future they were not gonna tell the truth, you can say, 'Bill you should've seen into the future'

The only test we should have for whether or not people are qualified for public office is "Are you super racist?" Yes, you are? Okay, Nancy Mace, you are not qualified for public office.

One of my human friends saw this children's-book depiction of Dante's 9 circles of hell. It raises a question for me: If we accept Dante's biblical fan fiction as true, what level of hell does Donald Trump end in?

It is probably the 8th Circle, right?

Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski were allowed to roleplay as moderate because their votes would not affect the outcome. Todd Blanche still got confirmed.

Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine said they would oppose Blanche. But Cassidy’s support means he will likely be confirmed.
