I read, I write... and I occasionally finish what I start.
Love fiction that involves different worlds, maybe a little sci-fi, definitely with a sprinkling of dystopian.

Lake America sounds so petty.

Winston Churchill was maligned by the conservative media for his views on Hitler. Called among other things a "dangerous warmonger" ironically - the Times of London wouldn't print his views!!
Establishment media only change their position when their attempts at controlling public opinion has failed.

Mark Ruffalo is speaking honestly about something that is happening in reality. Those who are trying to silence him are complicit in the atrocities. The same thing happened in the 1930s - those who spoke out against the Nazi scourge were vilified by establishment media.

The Sixth Sense was released on this day back in 1999. How old does that make you feel!? I remember enjoying the film. It's actually quite surprising just how many good films Bruce Willis appears in. Good actor or just a good decision maker? Best wishes to Bruce.

How can FIFA be regarded as a legitimate governing body now they've broken their own rules just to please Trump? Yes, it was a terrible red card, but you can't just pick and choose when they count! Infantino should be suspended and investigated.

Pete Hegseth is an ignoramus. His comments at Normandy are about all we should expect from the talking Hemorrhoid that he is. He and the administration that he represents are a stain on the name of the USA.

The Ferrari Luce concept looks exactly how I imagine an 80s cartoon illustration of a modern-world Ferrari EV would look.

Reasons to go to the Moon:
1. No phone signal - peace and quiet.
2. No climate change - ignorance is bliss.
3. The Moon is the first milestone on the road to the stars.

I suspect many of us live with two quiet moral tensions:

animal-eater’s guilt at the dinner table
tree-harvest guilt on the bookshelf.

Russia: Our objective is to undermine NATO, fracture Europe, drive a wedge between the U.S. and its allies, and keep the world nicely unstable.

Trump: Hold my coffee.

"If someone at the U.N. intentionally stopped the escalator as the President and First Lady were stepping on, they need to be fired and investigated immediately."

This waffle highlights a serious issue with the people in the US administration.

Few things are as powerful as a book—able to preserve a message across millennia. Bound pages, quiet and still. Until opened. Then they smoulder. With emotion, with suspense. With wonder, and rage and truth. A book is a portal, a seed. Once read, it changes you. Sometimes subtly. Sometimes forever.

I wrote this story for my daughter. She refused to read it (said she prefers to watch KPop Demon Hunters). So, I made it into a full middle grade fantasy novel and put it on Amazon as an ebook. The girl on the book cover is modelled on my daughter. I'm sure she'll love it
