Very important we support new leaders as they step into new leadership positions.
Do share with new leaders stepping into new roles. Important those of us who have walked the walk help to guide those following our paths.

Table mountain is majestic and nature has a way of humbling you.
It is good to stand in awe of nature after my 6 year tribunal fight knowing that our time here is fleeting and these rocks and trees will out live us all.
I have walked a long way and I survived to speak it

The Youth Sport Trust conference is one date I always look forward to attending.
This year I was honoured to be a judge for one of the awards.
I am especially proud to be supporting their leadership development program aimed at supporting global majority teachers into leadership

I am always learning about how school buildings and design impact on learners and outcomes.
Yesterday I visited another school on behalf of the Youth Sport Trust to support a fantastic global majority middle leader on her leadership journey and it was great to see the spaces that exist for learners.

I have stopped believing what people say as my focus is on what they actually do as that is a better indicator to their true intentions.

Great start to 2026 as I was back in my happy place.
Coaching and mentoring these young men is the best way to start my year.
Croydon Cougars basketball club has created an amazing space for these boys to grow, develop, laugh and play safe.

On a walk about in Marrakesh and only bumped into Hannah one of my teachers from my time leading a school in Basingstoke, UK.
As a leader I have always looked for character and people who had a vocational calling to work with young people and Hannah had that in abundance.

On Saturday our under 16s took on local rivals croydon elite in a local derby.
After a minutes silence to mark the passing of Vic Ambler a great basketball advocate the boys got down to action.
Great passing, team defence saw the @croydoncougars take the victory by 51 points.

In victory or in defeat fathers are required. So many silently doing the heavy lifting to support their children as they navigate this world.
Happy fathers day to all who hold that responsibility on my network and beyond.
