Idk about stunning, he looks like that and his name is Braiden, what did they expect
In a stunning turn of events, the team abruptly fired its new play-by-play commentator after a series of troubling, years-old tweets from him came to light.

This is at least the second time the president has talked about how he doesn’t know how to spell a four letter word

MY MAN. Knicks fans are allowed to hate him for obvious reasons but he is our French Woke Alien and I love this dude. Doesn't give a fuck about upsetting the league. Spoke out on ICE and the murders in Minnesota when he wasn't 'supposed' to.
Just asked Victor Wembanyama if he’d ever consider promoting a sports betting company.

“Absolutely not. I will never do that. Honestly, I think it's very sad to see some players promote it. .. Everybody does whatever they want, but without me.”

The greatest playoff performer in Atlanta Hawks history
Single-game playoff record for assists is 18; single-game playoff record for turnovers is 9. Caitlin Clark currently on pace to break *both* tonight. #WNBA

The funniest thing about the Schmitt rake stomp is that if it'd been a Dem we'd have a week of think pieces about how Dems lack of hoops literacy was alienating them from real America.

It’s sort of funny that part of the California gerrymander involved the creation of one hyper-cursed Orange County/exurban Riverside district (the 40th)

The smug look on Schmitt's face after Smith's denial when he thinks he's got him is amazing. Just no idea he's about to walk through an open trapdoor

Look Klobuchar did well here but it’s still notable that her outrage is over Smith being called a “dirtbag” not the ludicrous accusation of perjury or the broader attempt to frame and/or railroad an innocent public servant for prosecuting a criminal.
Klobuchar: “For a US senator to have false information and imply, based on a confusion about the name of a team … and imply that you were in another city, that you were somehow involved that day in what was happening in Georgia, and then call you a dirtbag, is something that deserves an apology.”

if this doesn’t just sum up the whole conservative media ecosystem
Eric Schmitt is on The Charlie Kirk Show (yes it's still called that) -- and believe it or not, hosts are pretending he owned Smith with his embarrassingly botched gotcha

"You caught him in this NBA game too in Atlanta"

"Yeah," Schmitt says

There's no mention that Schmitt had all his facts wrong

Just think how surreal it must be to be accused of perjury in a senate hearing because a United States senator confused the names of basketball teams.
🤡 Schmitt beclowns himself 🤡

Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atl for a Hawks game and to collude with Fani Willis, & flashed his "evidence" before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- his facts were totally wrong.

Here's the whole sequence:

One takeaway from Nixonland: for a period in the early 1970s the executive branch’s two primary individual enemies were, and not necessarily in this order, Leonid Brezhnev and Jane Fonda

Not sure an American president has ever done something as *politically* stupid as the Iran war.

No one wanted it even on the right. The (American) constituency was basically just Lindsay Graham, and he’s dead.
