Just had an idea for a solution to Daylight Saving Time that seems obvious yet which I've NEVER, EVER heard anyone else suggest: split the difference. Most of the U.S. just sprang forward 1 hour. Fall back 30 minutes, and leave it like that forever. [1/2]

Filé gumbo is in the Hank Williams song 'Jambalaya.' Today I learned filé is made from sassafras yet is banned as a controlled substance, with a relationship to MDMA (which, to be honest, as a Boomer, I don't know).
Also, gumbo means okra.
