I think we need to plan better for this lol.
It's clear skies and sunny yet we're using so much power (I assume for fans and A/C etc) that we've turned all the gas turbines back on.
It could also be because we've got zero wind (a factor contributing to the heat).

It is insane how much of a leap the UK has made with solar this year. It's not even mid-Spring yet and we're only using 2.2% fossil fuels. Most day time generation this month have been like this.

Hyper-personalised software rocks. I can now write my website as markdown files, and run a custom made CLI tool to automatically turn it into a static website. All configuration and settings managed through markdown frontmatter in the "Home.md" file. github.com/phalt/paulbl...

13ish years building and maintaining Pokeapi. Truly grateful for this project. Now we’re at 5k ⭐️. Dunno what the future of open source collaboration looks like, but I’m optimistic.

Still pretty frustrated with the dynamic on Github at the moment, with so much slop and low quality contributions. So I've started working on a new side project.

It's a simple annotation / "I was here" / guestbook app for websites called spice. Currently it just lets you make small notes and graffiti for a website. In the future I might build a way to view notes for the website you're on, or something like that.
