Statement from President Connolly:

We are in a world facing the existential threat posed by war and climate change, both of which are inextricably interlinked.

I conveyed the strong view of the Irish people that the normalisation of war and genocide can never be accepted.

A 6% increase in public transport use, roughly four times the population increase

Record numbers using the trains in the history of the state

Today's announcement about a public transport price increase is a farcical failure of policy, completely incoherent #Ireland #ClimateEmergency

Jean Paul Sartre did not write a 1,000 page phenomenological ontology, that he'd been thinking about for years, in the space of four weeks while taking speed just for today's press to say ADHD is made up.
Philip K Dick did not spend much of the sixties waiting until he had so little money he was reduced to eating cat food, spending everything he had on speed, and then writing a novel in a weekend to get more money, just for today's press to say ADHD is "made up".
Hunter S Thompson did not go on week long speed binges to almost meet his deadlines just for today's press to say ADHD is "made up."

Meta using disabled people to justify the obscene pervert glasses & the disgusting violation of privacy for everyone, everywhere.

Meta is being sued for targeting & firing its own disabled workers.

It’s not about accessibility, it’s faux-inclusion.

With its smart glasses, Meta has done neither…”

I read the article. I take the pill he took, and based on that experience, if I'm completely honest, I don't think he took it. I think he's lying.

I mean honestly we're scraping the barrel on this now surely. I'm not diabetic. If I took insulin the affects would be far worse.

A draft version of the government’s recent data centre report included several key aspects which questioned continued investment in the sector but were later cut from the final version released to the public.

There's a lot of issues all wrapped up in here obviously, but the extent to which some English people believe that the Irish are lower ranked subjects, who should be forced in line by coercion (economic or otherwise), is never less than staggering to me.
Rowling looming over a progressive Irish cultural festival with her menacing insinuations & a phalanx of expensive lawyers dashing off legal letters. And all because the organisers don’t want transphobes peddling hate at their event.

A nauseating spectacle of spite.

I find the claim HIGHLY dubious.

Any future invite only ecosystem would benefit a lot from starting as far away from California as possible.

Start in Madagascar.

Minister McGrath unilaterally agreed to every public service desk jockey being given Microsoft's Co-Pilot at a time when it had no recognisable value proposition or justifiable use case, with TOS saying that it was "for entertainment purposes only".
The state seems to be getting deeper and deeper in bed with Microsoft in particular, while the rest of Europe is pulling back and starting to consider other options.

I'm anticipating a huge amount of Euroscepticism and a slow swell of support for Irexit across the political spectrum of Facebook, Instagram and, God help them, Threads users over the coming months. The only tool I have is deriding the platform users. It's really past time to push people off them.
