Why are Hell Chambers' characters flat?

Well... There are two reasons:

1. We didn't have a character artist. But we wanted some characters to appear in the game, so we experimented with 2D/3D styles. That's how we ended up defining our comic-inspired look.

Meet Roy, the main character of Hell Chambers. He was sent to Hell for sleeping with Satan's girlfriend. Since he's still alive, he's been given a special punishment - instead of torture, he must solve a series of hellish escape room puzzles to earn his freedom
