I feel like people have forgotten that ad blockers weren't popular because people just wanted to get something for free, it's because we can't trust ads not to fuck up our computers.
If we still just had quiet simple banner ads or sideboard ads, ad blockers wouldn't have gotten as much traction.

Someone on our street likes to let their dog run around unleashed and unsupervised and it loves running up to other dogs which is really cool and fun when you have a reactive dog that especially doesn’t like big dogs 🤪
