A wonderful things about nature is its imperfect symmetries. We accept or even ignore imbalance, blemishes, cracks, and smudges, dirt and damage on a piece of nature that catches our eye. We even impose our imagined perfections on something that is in fact already perfect because of its flaws.

One year ago had an amazing trip to the Pacific northwest to see Mount Rainer and Olympic National Park and the Washington coast. I highly recommend you take any opportunity to do that.
