Just a quick observation- We know Trump will be gone someday. But the world now knows that the shining democracy on the hill is capable of electing the worst of the worst as their president. This reputation will not disappear in the lifetime of anyone alive today.

It just occurred to me that we have a huge cottage industry of pundits and such that need to explain to 40% of our population why Trump is so horrific. It's very sad.
