Hopeless romantic in 2019 believing that Lab and Everton could both come back from the dead.

I'll take 1/2.
Trump's use of infantile name-calling, which he appears to think displays cleverness, is reminiscent of the character Biff in the 'Back to the Future' series of films.

Biff, an oafish bully when supported by his toadying acolytes, becomes craven and subservient when confronted.

We can but hope.

"Mr Farage, Sam Allardyce lost his job as England manager over a much less serious breech of the law, are you still fit to be an MP?"

There will never be a poll on Irish independence. Politicians on both sides of the border know that.

The expectation was that there would be ever closer links, UK/RoI via the EU so it would become an irrelevance.

Brexit has relit that fuse but it's still a reality.

¼ of UK pensioners rely on state pension. Most receive other benefits but average income is below most European comparators.

¾ of pensioners have 2nd pensions. Total income is taxed but, crucially, NIC are not paid.

Address this & all high earners lower NIC rate & continue the triple lock.

Has anyone done any research about whether anyone is interested in 30 secs of comment from a player being asked stupid questions as he comes off at half-times?

At 0805 yesterday morning I completed an online consultation form and sent it to my GP. I got a call at 0810 offering an appt. By 1015 I was on my way home following the appt.

There certainly are problems to solve in the NHS but most people most of the time get great, free service.

Is it feasible to draft a law that says when you register for any social media platform you have to opt in to allowing sharing of any data about you?

Or not.

KL resigns.

Suggestion that she was pissed to be left behind in Turkey, whilst Ivanka lookalike boarded the jet home.

There appears to be a dozen or more Chinese auto manufacturers entering European markets.

Their vehicles will require parts, brakes, suspension components, etc.

What's the aftermarket supply likely to be? Currently I go into a parts shop, give in my registration and they give me the bits.

POTUS. has always had medical assistance close by but this is different. Look at the people around him and ask how many are emergency medics within feet of him.

Despite his stated antipathy towards any equal opportunity legislation, I don't believe that needing help to wipe your arse and change your incontinence pads should bar anyone from being President of the United States.

To all those inflammatory little Englanders moaning that the French do nothing to prevent boats, this is the cat park of our Calais hotel, it's like this every year, police national and CRS.

Comfortable win for Labour, on low turnout but if that's the best Reform can do it looks like they've shot their bolt.

No analysis of this by Kouenssberg, Mason or Eardly. If Labour had lost or been run close they'd have been all over it.

On other matters, we were always taught about computer programmes that it was a case of "rubbish in, rubbish out."

Those responsible for any AI programme that "goes rogue" need to be reminded of that and charged.

Farage announces he's no intention of standing in GE.

He receives £3m

He approaches Reform candidate in Clacton to step down, promising a job with the party, candidate steps down.

Farage nominated.

Farage receives £2m

Not complicated and nothing to do with security.

We are, apparently interested in Spence to play RB. 🤷‍♂️

When I've watched the matches so far I've been looking out for a decent RB and failed to see one that might conceivably be available.

We need to resist buying a player just because he IS a RB.

I'd sooner play Garner and buy additional MF.

Balogun's parents are Nigerian.

His mum visited New York and, when 7 months pregnant, she was denied passage on her return flight.

Balogun was born in New York, gaining the birth-right citizenship which Trump has sought to overturn.

Yanks don't do irony but if they did...

It would be great if all ceasefires held and no one died. Full stop.

But drawing an equivalence between four Israeli soldiers killed on Lebanese sovereign land they were illegally invading and 28 Lebanese (incl children) killed by Israeli strikes on their homes is not quite fair.

Andy Burnham has only got today to move his seat from the South Stand.

Best of luck finding the 6 together he'll need for him, his lad and his 4 new, large mates.

Starmer's critics are largely of the left, a tribe not known for banging the drum on defence spending.

Those using Healey's tantrum to pressure Starmer are charlatans.

For Burnham, knowing nothing about the issue, suggesting defence spending should increase at the cost of welfare is a disgrace.
