That's probably the best route for me, ive been stuck in that mentality of wanting to smooth out the payments over the year but really that's not necessary for me.

Yeah I was paying for bill amounts for a few years after all the energy firms collapsed and everything was on the cap, only recently changed to DD when moved to octopus, I could change back for sure.

I've got 900 in credit and they still wanted a DD in the hundreds, I was close to putting it at 0 but left it in low tens. See how that goes through the winter. Was the first summer work solar so a bit of a trial this year.

Even though we get paid by octopus for our solar energy it's still difficult to convince them our usage will be lower than the average..

What really pisses me off is that as soon as a democratic president is elected, suddenly standards and decorum will matter massively again. It will change overnight.
