The man behind the exploratory campaign to run Bovino for the 2028 presidential election is Jacob Engels, a long-time aide to Roger Stone, as well as a far-right blogger with legal troubles and ties to the Proud Boys. Since the Remigration Summit, he has become a vocal supporter of Martin Sellner.
