thats absolutely true and i think a lot of progressives have internalized this idea that Black Lives Matter backlash is at fault for Trump 2 (and not a decades long conservative project midwifed by many liberals), and so they want to those battles to be irrelevant today. But they're not!

it is foolish and self defeating for the lefts not to be connecting the dots for people here.

@majorityreport.bsky.social and countless others have tried to separate these fights and argue reigning in the police is a nonstarter nationally while hatred of ICE has been growing. It’s just factually incorrect and strategically impossible.

Addenum* - obviously dont want an injury and it is absurd that we dont have any meaningful depth behind him at that spot even if we didn't have such terrible injury luck.

I pray every matchday is the last I have to watch Nouhou in rave green. Drives me absolutely insane, especially as we get further and further from him being a lockdown defensive force and more and more get to watch him position like shit and continue to do nothing offensively.

The fact he actually looks like he can move and still has his pace has me much less down on him than watching him early this season when it looked like he had none of the burst left.

But he is holding him and that is why he cant strike it initally, since when are defenders allowed to grab with both hands to defend?

Which is insane...

I mean what levers can they pull?

Most of the uncomfortable choices require a fundamental change in how Adrian runs the club/requires him to admit how greedily he has handled the team.

Nothing will change unless Adrian is removed.

I think by existing since we got rid of any possible other option...
