I really don't know how Epstein left the conversation when it comes to the trump administration.

Bad idea.
Unless you produce and sell diesel in the US.
Then it's a great idea.

I kind of think any citizen should be investigated if they have ties to Russian oligarchs and high-level politicians, military, or military contractors. You owe the citizens of the US a higher level of transparency and scrutiny if you are in these positions.

I didn't specify China. He's known to be a sellout domestically, too. The problem is trump's decision will be based on what's best for trump, not the country.
September 23, 2026 at 7:00 PM
Unfortunately, I think it's internationally known that trump is for sale.

Obviously, the demolition itself can't be done secretly. It's the initiation of the demolition that was secret. There was no public announcement or warning.
The same could happen to the JKC.

Protesters are currently surrounding the building.
That's a start.

I can only assume there was free coffee...

What Norm Elisen is doing is extremely important.
Unfortunately, since trump has never really faced any consequences for breaking the law, what is really protecting the Kennedy Center right now is the patriots surrounding the building.
I hope they have planned to stay there for a long time.

Funny RFK Jr. doesn't seem to have an opinion on this.

There needs to be some changes made in the operation of Congress and the Senate.
I think there was an assumption that elected officials would predominantly work in good faith. This is clearly not the case.

Great, maybe that will encourage them to start, practicing some actual journalism.
(There are some notable exceptions to this critique.)

Par for the course at this point.

To be clear, I don't mean to diminish Mr. Eisen's work. It is extremely important, especially long term. In an 🇺🇸, where "bending the knee" is bus. as usual, he is a much needed protector of common decency and 🇺🇸 values. My concern is while he protects the high road, who do we have to guard the low?
September 19, 2026 at 1:36 AM
Great.
But what steps can be taken to secure the building so a wrecking crew doesn't roll in at 3am?
I mean physically protect it. Because they seem to ignore the law on a regular basis with little to no repercussions.
September 18, 2026 at 9:14 PM
Funny how the people who could probably least afford to make a stand made a stand.
September 18, 2026 at 6:06 PM
Better keep an eye on it. He's the kind of guy who would just roll in at 3am and start knocking it down.
He's never faced any consequences for his actions, so why not?

This will go down as one of the greatest military/political blunders of all time.
