So, popped into Sainsbury for a couple of items includes grapes, reduced by 70p with a Nectar card. Left my basket with the security guard while I popped to the car for the card. Would you have bothered? 70p, that's 14 shillings for goodness sake!!

Sixty years ago this week I had my first bellringing lesson. Wow, what an impact that almost chance happening (I only went to watch!) has had on my life. Many thanks to this group, especially to my friend David and of course Alan, both sadly like many in this picture no longer with us.

Just enjoyed three days #bellringing, 16 towers in Somerset & Wiltshire including the magnificent 35cwt octave at Westbury and, probably my favourite, Ditcheat!

Knitting for bellringers, splicing a new tail end in to one of our bellropes. The replacement rope is 'soft laid', not wound quite so tightly on the rope walk

I've just got myself an OAP's sat nav. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, when I arrive it tells me why I wanted to go there! 🤣🤣🤣
