Jack Haven is THE best part of QUEENS OF THE DEAD. They're so goddamn funny, and it's insane to me that they have to literally beg for work.
Jack Haven is a vital part of one of this year’s best films. And they’re in need of some help.

Tim Curry and Dolly Parton have taught us not only that you should be bigger, weirder, gayer, and freakier, but also that those qualities are what people will love about you. The things that make you strange and amazing are the things that will resonate with other strange and amazing people

Tim Curry had been doing poorly ever since he had a major stroke back in 2012. Amazingly, he still did the occasional VA work, voicing Auntie Whispers in 2014. Theres an ethereal frailness to her because of what he went through. He, like Dolly, was an amazing human being.

Disney doing this in 2012 and then proceeding to ignore it in favor of micro-improvements on their TANGLED style is one of their biggest animation fumbles ever. They could have been ahead of even the SPIDER-VERSE curve, but...
Throwback: "Paperman" (John Kahrs / Disney).
3D based 2D animation already in 2012.

No one is lying about the Hadestown proshot, folks. It is incredible and, yes, quite possibly the best proshot I’ve seen. Do not miss it. It’s only out for a week, and I don’t know that we know yet if and where it will have a life after this.

One of the worst openings for a Disney live-action film.

Loving that Mexico is joining the Stop Motion film industry with force! More international stop motion is always a treat!
First look at ‘INSECTARIUM’, a new stop-motion film from Mexican director Sofia Carrillo.
The film follows a world where insects have gone extinct, until a girl revives a moth.
