I've just remembered...
I had Michaels plastic drinking glass from that night - took it from the table where he was sitting after the show.
I brought it all the way home from London, only for my mum to throw it out a few weeks later.
One of my Michael Stipe stories 👌

I suspect the post execution debrief will be far more like an episode of police squad.
Remember, Sally Decker shot Twice once, Once fired Twice.

I came to love this when it was released, the 3rd in a 3 album post-Bill arc starting with Up. It showed the journey the band were on and felt like an organic progression to this point
Would have loved to see what the next album would've been like had there not been such a backlash.

Look to see who's arrived since you've sat down, whether they've already been served, take that 2 mins comment as "we forgot about you but will prepare it immediately and over-promise the time it'll take".
After 45 min wait I'd have lost both appetite&patience, & be unable to fully enjoy the meal.

Same happened to me recently with Happy Hour after seeing it live on BBC. It's been popping up on my Spotify regularly since.

And the music choices have often been brilliant.
It is frustrating the end credits want to skip to the next episode though - spoils the mood. Always have to dive for the remote to stop it happening.
This one surprised me tonight though.

The scenes with Carmy & his PTSD are so well written, as I've come to know more about the condition.
Self-sacrifice comes right to the fore when he ends up locked in the walk-in fridge. (I've yet to see how that turns out).
Despite it being a brilliant night, he feels like his world is ending.
