I finally got to make one of these myself x3
- Used half a carton of almond milk- not cheap to make
- no "whip" or vanilla syrup (more in reply thread)
- Used a well-reviewed, but new Chinese matcha supplier from amazon ("ceremonial grade")
- Less liquid; more ice
very satisfying ^_^

The sauce doesn't have as much 'searing pain' this batch as my recipe intended, but the 'long hots' and fresh 10 Serranos give it a longer 'warm burn'.
The subtle flavours are more powerful as well.
