Honestly might do the stupidest thing:
I'll get a regular Switch 2, play FE on that and then refund the console and buy a revised model
Cause tomorrow is the last reasonable day I can check a lot of stores (Saturday is the start of the Oktoberfest and I don't want to be in Munich for those 2 weeks)

Three weeks ago when I heard that the new Switch 2 models where already shipping in Europe I decided to pre-order FE
Now I have the game but not a console.
Worst case is that I have to wait until late October for the switch sports bundle to definitely get a revised model.

not really surprised, but seems like the OoT special edition of the Switch 2 will not have the new EU battery replacement model.
Given it releases before the EU law goes into effect they probably didn't feel like making one for a limited edition thing.

I think it's funny how in the last few years the most interesting license games where the Ice Age and the Smurfs 3D platformers.
Mainly because both felt like remasters of unreleased PS2 games. Derivative as hell, short playtime, but just fun in their simplicity

Even really talented development teams like IO interactive (Hitman) dumbed their mechanics down for 007 to such a degree that you can basically never lose.
